Web Success Diva Re-Launches Viva Visibility Blog

What an honor it was for the Diva team to work with the Viva Visibility diva, Nancy Marmolejo! Such an honor, in fact, I personally handled every aspect of design, development, and implementation with every piece of knowledge I have acquired in my internet marketing career. Lois Smithers Omega3Labels.com Launches Landing Page Comparison

You’ve seen the blog, now the Diva team would like to introduce the sales landing page for the Book, www.Omega3Labels.com. There is quite a story behind the newly, re-vamped sales landing page you are about to see. Quite a story indeed, but a lesson learned for our lovely client — and a lesson for you.

What was wrong with the old page? Oh, let us count the ways…

  • There was so much stinkin’ jargon from the headline to the closing pitch, even if you knew what Omega fatty acids were, you were lost.
  • There was no warmth to the page, it was so clinical, I felt like I was looking at a medical-chop-shop page.
  • Everything looked so homemade. You can be successful with those notoriously “ugly” sales pages — but in some niches, that actually works against you.
  • There was no clear call to action, with the “Buy Now” button blending with all the other buttons — I did the “Gabby check.” My daughter, bright and 12 years-old… If she can see your call to action, you’ve done a good job. You’ve got to spell it out people, and in a compelling way!
  • The page was so intimidating with scrolling text after scrolling text after scrolling text, I didn’t even want to look at it for an assessment.
  • Her bonuses? No JVs in the bunch, no effort to maximize the leverage you gain from offering JV bonuses.

The list goes on and on. Take a look at both pages side by side and you’ll see the clear difference.

Now, were we targeting Lois as a “not-so-smart-online-marketer?” Uh, no! Duh! She’s an Omega and health expert — not a stinkin’ internet marketer. But I will say, we were a little disappointed at the online marketing gurus who guided Lois up to the point of meeting our team.

You see, Lois paid a ton of money (in the thousands!) to get to where she was when we found her. The things that could have really dimished her success?

  • She paid thousands for a program that created “template” landing pages, hence the lovely old landing page you see above!?
  • She paid thousands to go through a learning program that was supposed to teach her about creating JVs and using the power of JVs in marketing your online product… Hmmmm… what kind of JV guru doesn’t know that NOT leveraging a JV partnership with your product bonuses is like Lois marketing other people, without leveraging their marketability?!
  • She paid thousands to be told that it is entirely possible to sell 10,000+ ebooks A MONTH — without any solid JV program, without any presence online but a few articles found in Google, without any authority or credibility, and on her own. After all, this guru did so years ago — all by his little self???!!!
  • She paid thousands to be told that NOTHING about the power of social media marketing for authors, the power of video and podcasting marketing for authors, the power of leveraging power-houses like Amazon… Not even a mention of blogging, seo, sem, adwords… nothing!

Why am I calling it out? My point is… be careful. Be realistic. The stories of riches and smooth sailing in online sales just are not true! Yes, there are alwasy anomalies in the grand scheme of such a large thing as the Internet. And yes, it is possible to be that rising star — but it takes work, timing, consistency, and a longer-term effort than 30 days!

Listen, just because someone calls themselves a guru, does not make them so! And there is a HUGE difference in making money selling products/services teaching people how to make money online — and actually making money online! A HUGE difference. Make sure your guru has actual experience at what you are paying them lots of money to teach you — and for the record, shots with all the so-called gurus at all the internet marketing conferences, does NOT make someone a guru!

Look for longevity, a proven track record of ACTUAL, REAL-LIFE experience, and someone who is willing to provide you with “after-care.” A sure sign of someone’s true motives is to pay the money, get through the class, then try to call them… see how responsive they are when your not buying their new car.

I’m so glad Lois found us! And, we are so happy to share her project with you! In fact, we’ve read the book and our entire team is working with Lois to get the facts and get healthy… the information she provides has literally blown our minds… so, rarely do we do this — but the Diva team gives Lois’ book TWO THUMBS WAY UP!

All funnies and b.s. aside, this will be one of the few projects that the Diva team actually endorses the product whole-heartedly and without reservation! Get the book!
